A Note of Thanks

Thanks to the camp committee this year for planning the whole retreat, including all the fun, innovative and exciting games!

Thanks to Jo and Hannah who made sure that we went off to bed early, kept campers in order and made the effort to talk to us campers every now and then!

Thanks to KSers who went for the retreat for active participation in all activities and group discussions!

Thanks to 2 KSSers who were the game masters for two stations on the 2nd day and special thanks to one of the two who planned the last night quiz, which was one we never experienced before!

Big announcement! KS Retreat will be held on the 30th of November till the 3rd of December. Please book the dates in your calendars now! More details will be out soon.

For the next three weeks, there will be no KS. This time has been allocated for you to study for your upcoming end-of-year examinations. Jiayous! :)

4 Sept KS Outing - When there's a Wheel, there's a Way!

As we prepare for our examinations, do reserve 1 afternoon for a time of cycling and fellowship with church friends. Come and learn about God's will and how we can trust that his way is best! We will try to bike across 1/2 of Eastern Singapore!

KS Fights the Spiritual Battle!

Hey KSers!

How has your spiritual battle been thus far this year? Tough and exhausting, with yet another battle just when you thought the worst was over? Or perhaps a little too easy-going, and you're wondering if you are living like a Christian? Or did it suddenly occur to you that it's been so easy-going for such a long time, you kinda got used to it?

There's going to be a really really exciting outing this Saturday! Come for a blessed and fun time of games and fellowship with other KSers! We promise you that you will have an afternoon of fun learning, as we draw some lessons from 2 of the battles in the OT and recall the pieces of armour of God in Ephesians 6 and what God has meant them for. You will get to explore spiritual battles at Fort Canning Park and after all the battling, you will get to fill your hungry stomachs with a picnic feast!

Hi everyone! There'll be a KS outing this coming Saturday, 17th July. It will be held at Ang Mo Kio Town Garden West (more details on the sidebar). The Sun Rises Again!

Since our stock of the latest issue of Dat KS MEGAzine was sold out so quickly, we've decided to reprint 30 more copies! As a favour to those who didn't manage to get it the first time round, we've got about 15 limited sunrise edition copies up for sale at the same token price of $2! These have a coverpage in colour, but isn't different otherwise from the rest of this issue, so please don't buy it if you already have a copy.

This reprint is only available until the end of May. Please approach any of the magazine crew to request for it!


Please note we're currently looking for people to contribute to the next issue later this year. As volunteer work from the heart is in many ways better than being nagged to write, please do give of your time unto the Lord! We'd like up to 2 people each to cover the following events: KS' OUTREACH activities; 2nd InterChurch Sports Day; and Church Camp 2010! Feel free to write in reflections or devotions too.
